However, the Galaxy A40s brings a stronger battery (with fast charging technology) to the fore and has an Android OS that can be upgraded to the Android 9. The Galaxy A40s offers more external storage than its rival. However, it costs more than the Y9 (with the 6GB RAM selling for ₦90,000), and should be considered if you want something slightly newer or have more cash to splash out. The Galaxy A40s wins this head-to-head between these mid-range rivals but comes at a higher price, which may be a bit too much for certain buyers. The Y9 however offers good specs at a great price and provides awesome value for the money.
