The mid-range smartphone market provides users with a lot of options to select from, with different makers like Samsung, Transsion, and OPPO churning out various devices to suit their market’s needs. We will be placing the two smartphones side-by-side to see which comes out tops and which is better value for money.Infinix Zero 8 VS Realme 6 comparison We will start with the specifications of these two smartphones in a head-to-head comparison.
Infinix Zero 8 vs Realme 6 Comparison Table
Infinix Zero 8 vs Realme 6: Where The Zero 8 Has The Advantage
The Zero 8 offers a slightly bigger battery than its counterpart, allowing users enjoy more screen time with this device. It also features more external storage space, albeit having the same onboard storage and RAM as the Realme 6. Its larger display will also endear it to gamers and users who love to watch their favourite movies on this device.
Infinix Zero 8 vs Realme 6: Where The Realme 6 Has The Advantage
The highest RAM variant of the Realme 6 is cheaper than its counterpart, selling for ₦16,350 less than the Zero 8. This is a significant difference in price that may sway a number of users towards this smartphone. Aside this obvious advantage, the Realme 6 has precious little above the Zero 8, boasting a similar processor, the same RAM, and the same rear camera setup as its rival. This device is perfect for buyers who are have a spending cap they are not willing to go above, or users who want great specs at a reasonable price.
Infinix Zero 8 vs Realme 6: Which Should You Pick?
Both mid-range smartphones offer 4G technology, feature good processors, boast awesome camera specs and offer long-lasting batteries. The Realme 6 is a cheaper option than its counterpart and should be perfect for you if you need a device that offers decent specs at a lower cost. This device also offers three different storage variants at different price points, giving users a variety of options to pick from. The Realme 6 has a 4GB+128GB variant that costs $175 (₦81,900), a 6GB+128GB model that costs $205 (₦95,950) and the highest variant 8GB+128GB model that costs $215 (₦100,650). These different storage variants share the same specifications too. For buyers who want the specs the Realme 6 has to offer, but do not necessarily want a device with large RAM, either of the lower storage variants will come in handy. They offer wonderful specifications at a reasonable price and should be your pick if you do not want a large RAM. The Realme 6 smartphone offers good value for the money, and its various storage options offers users more options for buyers to pick from. However, the Zero 8 provides a larger display which improves user experience and a slightly bigger battery than the Realme 6. The Zero 8 is the better smartphone than its Realme rival, but the Realme 6 provides better value for the money in my opinion. While the Zero 8 offers a better selfie camera setup than the Realme 6 on paper, Realme has OPPO’s better photography record behind it. As we keep saying, basing photography capabilities on raw specs is unreliable, so we are not delivering a verdict on the cameras till we see a shootout. The Zero 8 wins this match-up between the two mid-range smartphones, but the Realme 6 put up a good fight. While the Zero 8 is the better smartphone, it can be argued that the Realme 6 is better value for money. At the end of the day, the choice is yours. How do you want to play?
